Murat 124 or Hacı Murat



Murat 124 is the first automobile that is produced with foreign licence by using the chassis of Fiat 124 in the factory of Tofaş in Bursa.

Murat 124, that is called Hacı Murat by Turkish people (Hacı means "pilgrim" and it is used for old peopele), was produced between 1971-1977. When Tofaş started to produce bird series (Doğan, Kartal, Şahin), they stopped producing Hacı Murat.

After the discount in car taxes in 2002 most of them became junk heap.

These cars are legend for Turkish people.
